FireWise Training Program

1:00-4:00 PM on March 26, 2005
TSJC, Sullivan Center, All-Purpose Room

The Colorado State Forest Service, La Veta District under the direction of C K Morey, Forester,
is sponsoring a FireWise Seminar at TSJC, Sullivan Center, All-Purpose Room from 1:00-4:00 PM
on March 26, 2005. The seminar is designed to educate landowners in FireWise principles for the
management of their own property and to enable them to assist other landowners in accomplishing
FireWise treatment of their properties.

Judy Serby a member of the CSU Faculty and the CSFS along with others will present the FireWise
Seminar. This program is being made available for all interested area landowners and members of all
area Fire Districts.

There will be no seminar fee, but the CSFS does request an RSVP for seminar participants to receive
an extensive packet of FireWise educational materials.

We are hopeful that this FireWise educational program will be well attended by property owners.
